Red Cross- after the 2011 Christchurch earthquake thousands of people were saved finally and physically by the help of Red Cross. By getting thousands of people to donate money red cross was able to give people houses and help them find their families. Red cross also helped with removing the rubble and debris to try to find those trapped. Everybody who worked in this disaster was a volunteer. They rose more then $8.8 million for those effected by the earthquake.
The picture above shows the Red Cross team helping clear the debris which was once the St Johns Latimer Square, an Anglican church, in the 2010 Christchurch earthquake.
